Departing the Capital city of Dublin for Wicklow "The Garden of Ireland" where your first stop would be the magnificent Powerscourt House and Gardens where you will have ample time to explore the house and wander the gardens.

Our next stop today would be medieval monastic site at Glendalough founded by St. Kevin in the 6th century. Take time here to explore the Round Tower, The Cathedral, St. Kevin's Kitchen and The Priest's House on your own.
Or you can pre-book a guided tour which is about 30 to 40 minutes in duration.
We will enoy a quick stop to view The Meeting of Waters on route to The village of Avoca. (The BBC series Ballykissangel was filmed here) We will pop into The Avoca Handweavers to enjoy a Free tour of the mill, browse around the store and maybe enjoy a spot of lunch.
