Tour itinerary (in brief)

Leaving the bustling town of Sligo our first stop will be the picturesque village of Drumcliffe, the final resting place of the poet W.B Yeats.
St. Colmcille founded a monastery in Drumcliffe in the 6th century and the village is also famous for its 9th century Irish High Cross.

Donegal Castle
Our route will take us through the historic Donegal Town which is dominated by the 15th century Castle built by the Chieftain Sir Hugh O Donnell.
Onwards through the very pretty little town of Ardara and Glenties. Famous for their Handwoven tweeds and designated as an area of "Outstanding Natural Beauty", where the hills of Donegal meet the Atlantic ocean.

Next on our tour is Dungloe where you will find the Daniel O'Donnell Visitor Centre and just a short while up the road is Crolly The birth place of Enya, Clannad and Moya Brennan.

On route to our final destination of Letterkenny we will tour our way through the Majestic Glenveagh National Park and take the guided tour of The Magnificent Glenveagh Castle which is a 19th century castellated mansion and was built between 1867 and 1873.
